My name is Becca Perry.  I was born and raised in Haughton and married my husband, Erick, in 2008!  We have one daughter, Selby Jane, who is 9 years old.  I have taught preschool for Bossier Parish Schools for almost 14 years.  I love the preschool age because you have an opportunity to have a significant impact on their future by developing their love for learning, reading, church, and others. Children truly have a special place in my heart.

 I was saved in fourth grade at AWANA.   I spent many summers in middle school and high school serving on mission trips, working VBS, and attending church camps when possible.  In Spring of 2019, my family and I really began finding places to get involved and serve at FBC Haughton.  I have served in various roles over the last several years.  I have been a VBS teacher, nursery care worker, Wednesday night teacher for second graders, greeter, and been very involved in our neighborhood ministry.  The opportunity to serve in all of these areas has greatly impacted in my life.  I have learned so much about myself and others through these different roles.  My heart for reaching others and sharing His love has grown tremendously.  I now feel that God has opened the door and is leading me to take the position as the Preschool Minister to serve at an even greater capacity.
