What is the Mexican Indian Training Center?
MITC is a 4 year seminary for students who live primarily in the mountain villages of Southern Mexico. They have classes on the books of the Bible and in music. The students are assigned daily chores and are also assigned to local churches to help learn the ministry and to help serve the local churches. MITC has started more than 200 churches through out Southern Mexico since 1956, primarily through meeting physical needs and developing relationships that allow them to share the love of Christ and His Gospel.
We will be going to MITC January 10-15, 2015 and also on June 13-20, 2015. The cost for the trip is only $800. While we are there, we do construction, VBS and Block Party events, help with painting, cooking, and anything else that might need to be done. For more information about how you can go or support groups that go, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office, 318.949.2441.
