Meeting For LifeGroups Only This Sunday: 3.13.20 at 6:00p,
As you all know we are all currently in uncharted territory with the current spread of COVID-19.
Thankfully, we are seeing many encouraging news items that indicate solid plans to combat the exponential spread of the virus. Though we do not want to panic, participate in panic, nor initiate panic, we do want to use wisdom as we approach the upcoming challenges.
Today, the Governor of Louisiana has asked that all the people of our state refrain from single room gatherings of 250 people or more. At First Haughton, we want to respect those who are in authority for our state and follow the guidelines they have outlined.
Beginning this Sunday, we will ONLY meet in Life Groups. We will NOT meet for our regular Sunday Morning Worship service. In addition, we will move Life Groups to 10:30am, with the hope that any guests that may arrive for worship, will still have a place to meet with us in fellowship.
Wednesday nights will remain unchanged, except, we will suspend the Wednesday night meals until further notice.
CLU will be suspended until further notice.
- Life Groups will meet at 10:30am, until further notice
- Sunday Morning Worship and CLU will be suspended until further notice
- Wednesday Night schedule will continue as is, EXCEPT for the meal. The meal will be suspended.
- As you know, this is a very fluid situation that can change within hours. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust as safety or law necessitates.
Thank you for being The Church during these difficult times. We still have a lot of ministry to do and our lack of a large meeting time will not deter our commitment to the Great Commission and we know it will not inhibit yours either.
We will continue to update our status through email and our social media, but if you have any questions, please feel free to email us or call the church office. Facebook will be our fastest point of information dissemination, so please check there regularly.
